WebGecko Software Announces Upcoming Release of Active Page Generator™ 1.0

SEATTLE, Wash. - August 5, 1999 - WebGecko Software LLC, a Seattle-based Web development tools Company, today announced details about the release of Active Page Generator™ (APGen™)  1.0.  A public beta of APGen is available for free download at http://www.webgecko.com/trial/.

APGen 1.0 Pricing

Introductory pricing for APGen will be $595 USD per single license.  A free 1-month trial version of APGen will also be available.  Students, teachers, and customers that work for non-profit should contact us directly at sales@webgecko.com.

APGen Beta Receives Top Ratings

APGen Release Version - New Features

The final version of APGen 1.0 will include all the features in the free beta, plus these new features:

• Support for multiple scripting languages: VBScript, JScript, PerlScript, and Python.
• Scripting languages can be mixed within an APG script.
• Improved error information and handling, including the ability to use script and Visual Basic error handlers, which are called when a script error occurs.
• COM Event handling within an APG script.
• Improved collections.
• Debugging can be enabled or disabled for a script or batch of scripts.
